Over the years, I have had numerous opportunities to travel and explore certain parts of this world that we occupy. But I have always chosen to return to the place of my birth, South Mississippi. I suppose that I am kept here for several reasons, family being the most significant. Yet there is also a strong connection with friends, ministry, etc.

Choosing to move away from my family and friends would be a difficult decision to make. But then, how many times in our lives do we so casually move away from God. Granted, we usually return to him, but by leaving Him we have chosen to be in another place rather than with Him. When we have returned it is because we realized that we erred in leaving. We have remembered that it is with Him where we belong.

What is His commitment in these situations?
Hebrews 13:5 says, ” … be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
The safest place in this universe is with God; dead center in His perfect will and His glorious presence. Though the grass may appear to be greener away from our Lord, the cost of jumping the fence is always more than we ever want to pay.

There will soon come a time when our territory will be expanded to include Heaven. Our ultimate hope is to be in Heaven for all eternity with Jesus Christ our Lord. If you are planning to go there, it might be good to learn all that you can about it. Read The Fiddle. Go to WayneHudsonAuthor.com for more information.
